GENERAL. By participating in Special Olympics Colorado's Raffle ("Raffle"), entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Special Olympics Colorado, which shall be binding and final as to all matters related to the Raffle.

ELIGIBILITY: The Raffle is governed by the Colorado law and open only to purchasers present in Colorado at the time of entry purchase who are at least 18 years old at time of entry purchase. Participation in this raffle is limited to past purchasers of the Special Olympics Colorado Unified Truck Raffle (2019-2023) only. United States citizenship is not required to purchase an entry or to win. The following individuals and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent and related companies and agencies are not eligible to win a prize in the Raffle: executive management and officers of Special Olympics Colorado and their immediate family members residing in the same household.

PURCHASING RAFFLE TICKETS. ALL PURCHASES MUST BE MADE BY ELIGIBLE ENTRANTS LOCATED WITHIN THE STATE OF COLORADO AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. Special Olympics Colorado shall be the sole judge of the validity and eligibility of all entries. All Raffle Ticket purchases shall be final, and no refunds or replacements will be issued by Special Olympics Colorado unless the Raffle is canceled by Special Olympics Colorado. Entries which are or appear to be tampered with are void. Only one (1) individual may be identified as an entry purchaser. The Raffle is conducted in English. Tickets may be purchased via the internet or via mail. Internet purchasers will receive a copy of their tickets on the confirmation page at the conclusion of their order. Internet and mail purchasers providing the Raffle with a valid email address will receive ticket numbers via email within 5 minutes after an order is completed. Mail-in entry purchasers who do not provide a valid email address will be mailed ticket number(s) within two (2) days after an order is completed to the physical mailing address provided on the purchaser's entry form. These are the only confirmations that will be provided. If a purchaser does not receive their ticket they can contact Jan Radnoti at jradnoti@specialolympicsco.org. Questions concerning ticket numbers should be directed to the "Administrator," Special Olympics Colorado, at the address listed below. All entries are non-refundable.

RAFFLE DRAWINGS:   All draws will be under the supervision of the Administrator. Entry purchasers may win more than one prize. All time references are to Mountain Standard Time. All entries are nonrefundable unless the Raffle is cancelled by Special Olympics Colorado.

Raffle Drawings: Raffle Tickets are one for $10, 5-packs for $25, and 15-packs for $50. Draw dates are: Tuesday, November 21, 2023 @ noon, for which entries will be accepted until midnight November 17, 2023; Tuesday, November 28, 2023 @ noon, for which entries will be accepted until midnight November 24, 2023; Tuesday, December 5, 2023 @ noon, for which entries will be accepted until midnight December 1, 2023; Tuesday, December 12, 2023 @ noon, for which entries will be accepted until midnight December 8, 2023; Tuesday, December 19, 2023 @ noon, for which entries will be accepted until midnight December 15, 2023; after each draw, the winner's entry number will be returned for all subsequent draws. All drawings will be held at Special Olympics Colorado, 12450 E Arapahoe Rd, Suite C, Centennial CO 80112. Participants do not need to be present at drawings to participate in the raffle or to win a prize.

Promo Codes:

Between 11/13/2023 and 11/17/2023, any multi-pack order received that uses the promo code SOCO10 during an order will receive a 20-pack of Raffle Tickets for $25 or a 60-pack of Raffle Tickets for $50.

Between 11/18/2023 and 12/1/2023, any multi-pack order received that uses the promo code SOCO20 during an order will receive a 15-pack of Raffle Tickets for $25 or a 45-pack of Raffle Tickets for $50.

Between 12/2/2023 and 12/15/2023, any multi-pack order received that uses the promo code SOCO30 during an order will receive a 10-pack of Raffle Tickets for $25 or a 30-pack of Raffle Tickets for $50.

PRIZES: $1,000 per week for five weeks.


Special Olympics Colorado will make reasonable efforts to contact prize winners using information provided on the entry form. If a prize winner does not contact Special Olympics Colorado within 30 days after the first initial contact notifying the prize winner of their winnings, then Special Olympics Colorado shall give notice to such prize winner by U.S. Postal Service certified mail, return receipt requested, at the address set forth in the information provided by the ticket purchaser. This notice shall state (a) the prize won, (b) a telephone number of a contact person at Special Olympics Colorado, (c) the time and location where the prize(s) can be claimed, and (d) that if the prize has not been claimed within 30 days of the date the notification is given, that Special Olympics Colorado may, at its option, retain the prize.

Special Olympics Colorado will not award a prize if the prize winner (a) was ineligible to purchase a ticket or otherwise enter the Raffle, (b) provided materially false or misleading information to Special Olympics Colorado in connection with the purchase of a Raffle ticket, or (c) if participating in this Raffle or receiving a prize is prohibited with respect to such person pursuant to these Rules or Applicable Law. No other Raffle ticket will be substituted for a Raffle ticket, and Special Olympics Colorado will retain the prize. A Ticket Holder cannot assign or transfer his/her interest in a Raffle ticket or a prize won by a winning Raffle ticket.

Winners will be required to provide their Colorado driver's license or other valid form of identification in order to claim their prize.

PRIVACY: By entering the Raffle, entry purchasers agree that their information provided in connection with the Raffle entry may be used for communications promoting the Raffle and future raffles sponsored by or conducted for the benefit of Special Olympics Colorado. An entry purchaser may subsequently "opt-out" of the receipt of such communications by following the directions in any email, other communication or by contacting the Administrator (contact information below). Purchase of an entry in the Raffle constitutes permission for the Raffle and Special Olympics Colorado to use winner's name, address and/or likeness, in perpetuity, for purposes of advertising the Raffle or future raffles without further consent or compensation, unless prohibited by law.

REQUIREMENTS:   If an entrant is found to be ineligible, or if a potential winner does not comply with the Official Rules, then the potential winner will be disqualified and the prize or a cash equivalent will revert to Special Olympics Colorado.

RAFFLE CANCELLATION: In the unforeseen event the Raffle is cancelled or cannot be completed, every effort will be made to refund the ticket purchase price to all Raffle ticket purchasers. Tickets purchased by credit card will be refunded to credit card holder's account. Special Olympics Colorado's liability to any ticket purchaser is the purchase price of the ticket.

WAIVER / LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Except as described in the previous paragraph, entry purchasers, by participating in the Raffle (and winners, by accepting a Raffle prize), release Special Olympics Colorado, partners, subsidiaries, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies and independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion, possession, use and distribution of the prize(s) awarded.

INTERNET: The Raffle will pursue all available legal remedies against any individual(s) damaging or attempting to damage any Special Olympics Colorado Raffle website or attempting to undermine the lawful operation of the Raffle.

DISPUTES: In the event a dispute shall arise between the purchaser and Special Olympics Colorado, any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the raffle shall be settled by Colorado Secretary of State.

FORCE MAJEURE: Special Olympics Colorado shall not be in default or otherwise liable for any delay in or failure of its performance of the Raffle if such delay or failure arises by any reason beyond reasonable control, including any act of God, any acts of war, terrorism, the elements, earthquakes, floods, fires, epidemics, pandemics, riots, failures or delay in transportation or communications, or any act or failure to act by the other party or such other party's employees, agents or contractors.

GOVERNING LAW: Should a dispute arise between a purchaser and Special Olympics Colorado, purchaser agrees that all cases, controversies, and legal issues shall be governed by the laws and jurisdiction of the State of Colorado.

REGISTRATION: This Raffle is being conducted pursuant to Bingo-Raffle License #2023-18468, issued by the Colorado Secretary of State's Office, and is being conducted in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Colorado Constitution (Section 2 of Article XVIII), Colorado's Bingo and Raffles Law (Colorado Revised Statutes, Title 21, Article 24, Part 6), and Colorado's Rules Covering and Regulating Bingo/Raffles (8 CCR 1505-2).

TAXES AND IRS RULES: All winners shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prizes. All cash prizes will be paid net of applicable income tax withholding.

SPECIAL NOTE: At the time of this printing, federal law requires that corresponding tax withholding on prize values of $5,000 or greater must be collected from winners upon award and distribution. Federal and state withholding laws are subject to change without notice. The withholding laws in effect at the time prizes are claimed will be followed. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
